About the Author
Tracey Nelson, a native of Lynchburg, VA, is the founder of The Spotless Bride Network and Ministries. She serves in a variety of capacities to spread the Gospel and to equip and heal the saints. She also conducts emotional healing workshops. She often uses the arts to get around the hearts protective barriers to help bring the Light and Love of the Good News into the wounds of fear, pain, and unbelief. She and her husband of over thirty years, Charlie, live near the Big Horn Mountains in Wyoming and enjoy hunting, taking drives and remodeling their house. They have brilliant son, Isaiah and soon-to-be daughter-in-law, Michelle. Tracey is currently working on her next book, The Exponential Kingdom.

Accelerating Our Progress Toward Christlikeness

What if we could accelerate our progress toward spiritual maturity and Christlikeness? We all want to grow in the Lord and become more like our Lord Jesus Christ, and to be used by Him. Born again, spirit-filled believers seeking to serve the Lord and His people through a variety of streams in the church invariably struggle through long, frustrating periods of time as they make spiritual progress. Some wilderness experience is, of course, necessary. Just ask Moses or Paul, whose time in the wilderness prepared them to make powerful impact for the Kingdom of God.
We pray, study the Word, experience the Lord's anointing, serve, try to live by faith, yet many are hindered from reaching their destiny. We seek maturity, intimacy with God and unity in the Body of Christ, only to react in the flesh, have dry prayer times and experience strife and division in the church. What stands in the way? Well, clearly the enemy of our souls is involved, and we need to take authority over him. Although as born-again Christians we have been transformed into new creations in Christ, there are many obstacles in our hearts and minds that must be worked out; obstacles of which we are often not aware.
Tracey Nelson merges her knowledge in psychology uniquely together with rich spiritual insights from Gods Word to write a book that will be very helpful to not just emotionally-troubled people, but to the average reader. She identifies shame as a major culprit, and offers resources to deal with it, including healing prayer and a Accelerated Transformation discipleship course through inner healing, with songs, videos and lesson plans.
I have headed prayer ministries at a full-gospel church for a number of years, following a stint as Assistant Pastor responsible for Pastoral Care, Foundational Teaching and Small Groups at another church in Erie, PA. For over 35 years of lay ministry in various streams, from Catholic Charismatic, to Covenant, to Prophetic, to Word of Faith, my focus has been on prayer, worship, prophetic ministry and healing. I believe that qualifies me to say this is one of the better books on the subject.

Author Really Delivers an Effective Program for Transformation

This book has pretty much got everything you need to quickly get past your issues and help you to become like Christ. After decades of study, I can recognize new revelation when I see it. It helps shed light on scripture that will shift your paradigm. I believe the author, Tracey Nelson, has hit the nail on the head. This information is going to finally help get us healed and transformed in an accelerated time frame. She explained why we have not been transformed as quickly as we and everyone around us has expected us to be. Yes, the world IS watching all of us! In the eight months since my purchase, I was able to overcome the rage inside of me that I could never defeat even after dedicated efforts to do so. The self-hatred I felt every time I fell into it was very damaging to me. Witnessing my struggle had tainted my testimony with my family, coworkers, and friends. Now they finally see a difference and are not so skeptical. I believe it is very important that everyone read this.
A lot of territory was covered; from an in-depth teaching on how rejection and the effects false shame have on the formation of our identity to understanding the Cross of Jesus in the light of our healing/identity. The book even explained what our spirit man is. There was also a good section on the positive effects the church has had on society to demonstrate the power new revelation like this can have. But it also discusses how immaturity in the church has caused a lot of negative effects as well. Healing the heart can remedy the harsh and prideful mask of religion that killed Jesus. It put on as an attempt to become righteous through self effort (self-righteous).
The author quoted many other experts to support her revelation. She cited Dr. Caroline Leaf's work which explained how the heart is not just a blood pump, but also a mini-brain that checks for congruencey. Tracey Nelson explained if science and the Bible say the heart is the organ of our faith, it is all the more important for us to get healed of old wounds which toss us like the waves of the sea keeping us in doubt and unbelief. Christians can finally understand why their transformation into Christ's likness is incomplete. That is because The church has not known how to heal the wounds of the heart!
What I liked about the book, unlike most Christian books, the author has cited lots of scientific sources. She also writes out most of the scriptures she is highlighting so I don't have to go look them up. It is very easy to read. This is not a testimonial book but a scholarly work that includes bits and pieces of her testimony to spice things up, along with excerpts from movies and books to illustrate her points.
Nelson has included plenty of useful tools to help us through the process like worksheets, questions after each chapter, exercises, and audio recordings to help bring healing can be downloaded off her website. These are awesome! I rest while listening to the Graham Cooke recording all of the time. To get best results, participate in the suggested activities. Accelerated Transformation truly is a now time read. I used this book for a weekly bible study, the wealth of knowledge and transforamtion that indivuals experienced through this awkening was amazing. Anyone wanting to deal with their inner self and is willing to accept and receive change from the Master must read, share, read again and again. The Author Tracey really poured herself out into this book. Challenge yourself and others to experience newness with Accelerated Transformation.
